Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in instilling the values of tolerance through Civics (PKn) learning in elementary schools. The method used in this study is a literature review, namely by examining various relevant literature sources to identify the best approaches and practices in tolerance education. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a strategic role as educators, role models, and facilitators in creating an inclusive, interactive learning environment that supports the values of tolerance. Teachers also help students understand tolerance not only as a concept, but as a value in everyday life. In conclusion, instilling the values of tolerance through Civics learning in elementary schools is an important step in shaping the character of students who are able to live harmoniously in a diverse society
