Role Education Pancasila and State Authority in Elementary Schools

Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in forming the character of elementary school students in accordance with with the nation's noble values. Formal education is carried out in a learning system which, theoretically according to Gagne and Briggs, Instruction or learning is a system that aims to assist the learning process (of students), which It contains a series of events designed and structured to influence and support the internal learning process of students. Through a literature review, the author collected and analyzed various sources such as books, scientific journals, and other documents to understand how PPKn can instill national values, patriotism, and social morals. The results of the study indicate that PPKn plays a strategic role in shaping a responsible, disciplined, democratic generation with a strong sense of nationalism. Therefore, this education is crucial to implement from the elementary level to create good citizens in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
