Strategy Overcome Difficulty Student in Understand Citizenship Education Materials in Elementary Schools

This study aim for identify difficulty which faced student school base in understanding material education citizenship (civics) and develop strategy effective to overcome these difficulties. By using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through observation class, interview with teachers and students, as well as analysis of learning documents. The results of the study indicate that the main difficulties students face include understanding abstract concepts, limited vocabulary, lack of contextualization of material, and learning methods. Which not enough varied. Strategy effective which recommended covers contextual learning approaches, the use of visual and digital media, project-based learning, storytelling techniques, the use of educational games, and increased parental involvement. Implementing these strategies has the potential to improve students' understanding of civics and develop the citizenship skills necessary for social life.
