This study aims to examine the role of Civics (PKn) learning in increasing national and state awareness in elementary school students. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining various journal articles, books, and academic sources relevant to Civics learning and character education. The results of the study indicate that Civics learning that applies a contextual, active, and participatory approach can improve the understanding and internalization of national values in students. Methods such as simulations, role-playing, group discussions, and collaborative projects have proven effective in fostering democratic attitudes, tolerance, and responsibility as citizens. In addition, the integration of Pancasila values through teacher role models and school culture plays an important role in building students' national character in a sustainable manner. Thus, Civics learning that is designed innovatively and contextually is the main key in forming national and state awareness from an early age.
