Development of Civic Education Materials in Elementary Schools for Increase Understanding Right and Obligation Child

Civic Education (PKn) in elementary schools has an important role in shaping character and legal awareness from an early age, especially in understanding the rights and obligations of citizens. This research or development aims to design and develop Civics learning materials that are contextual and in accordance with the level of child development, in order to improve elementary school students' understanding of their rights and obligations. The method used is the literature study method to collect and analyze various sources of literature related to the implementation of civic education to improve children's understanding of rights and obligations in Civics learning in elementary schools. The literature sources used include policy documents, curricula, textbooks, scientific journals, and other relevant sources. These findings recommend the importance of innovating Civics materials that are relevant to students' lives to support meaningful learning and form responsible young citizens.
