Abstract

This study aims first to determine the extent of the role of teachers in shaping the character of elementary school children in the school environment and society in the context of education. Then second, to find out what obstacles make character formation must be built and formed in the school environment and society. The research method used in this article is a systematic literature review, the author traces published articles related to the title or topic of research that the researcher has determined. The results of this study found that the role of teachers is very strategic in shaping students' character because teachers are not only people who simply teach character values to students theoretically but teachers also provide examples, so that what is conveyed is relevant to what the teacher does. So this has a very positive impact on the formation of student character and becomes a bridge for students to become good people for their future.
