THE ROLE OF CIVIC EDUCATION IN INSTITUTING ANTI-CORRUPTION VALUES FROM AN EARLY AGE

Abstract

This study examines the role of civic education in instilling anti-corruption values from an early age. Civic education serves as a strategic medium to develop honesty, responsibility, discipline, justice, and social awareness among children through learning activities both inside and outside the classroom. By integrating anti-corruption principles into educational practices, students are expected to build moral character and ethical behavior that can prevent corrupt actions in the future. The study highlights that early character formation through civic education contributes significantly to creating a generation with integrity and strong civic responsibility.
