The research method used was qualitative library research, which involved collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various literature in the form of scientific journals, books, and relevant documents related to Civic Education. However, various problems still arise in their implementation, such as learning that tends to focus on cognitive aspects. lack of innovation method learning, as well as weakness internalization citizenship values in students' daily lives. To address these issues, improvements are needed through the implementation of innovative and contextual learning, strengthening character education, improving teacher competency, and utilizing technology in the learning process. Furthermore, collaboration between schools, families, and the community is also a crucial factor in supporting the success of Civics Education. Thus, the essence of Civics Education in Elementary Schools focuses not only on mastering material but also on developing students' character and national identity. Through holistic and continuous learning, Civics is expected to produce a generation with a national consciousness and the ability to play an active role in social, national, and state life.
