Abstract

This study aims to examine the citizenship challenges faced by the younger generation in the era of globalization and the role of civics education in addressing them. The method used was a literature study, analyzing various relevant sources, such as books and scientific journals. The results show that globalization has a significant impact on the character of the younger generation, both positive and negative. Civics education plays a crucial role in shaping the character of the younger generation in accordance with the values of Pancasila. Therefore, systematic efforts are needed to improve the quality of civics education to enable them to face the challenges of globalization.
