The Influence of Using Digital-Based Interactive Learning Media on Increasing Nationalistic Attitudes in Elementary School Civics Lessons

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using digital-based interactive learning media on improving students' nationalistic attitudes in civics learning in elementary schools. The background of this study is based on the still low level of active student participation and the suboptimal understanding of nationalistic values in conventional learning processes. Digital-based interactive learning media is expected to be able to create a more interesting, participatory, and contextual learning atmosphere, thereby fostering national awareness in students. This study uses a literature study approach by analyzing various relevant literature on digital learning media, interactive learning, and strengthening nationalistic character at the elementary school level. The results of the study indicate that the application of digital-based interactive learning media can increase student engagement, facilitate understanding of the material, and encourage the internalization of nationalistic values such as love of the homeland, tolerance, responsibility, and cooperation. Appropriately designed digital media can connect learning concepts with students' real lives, thereby strengthening the meaning of civics learning. Thus, the use of digital-based interactive learning media is an effective alternative to improve the quality of learning while strengthening students' nationalistic character in the digital era.
