Implementation of Pancasila Values in The Characteristics of Citizenship Education in Elementary Schools

The purpose of this study is to examine how Pancasila values are included into the features of civic education in primary schools. Through civic education, Pancasila, the foundation of the Indonesian state and way of life, plays a significant role in forming students' character from a young age. Descriptive qualitative research methodology is employed, and literature-based data gathering methods are found by searching for written sources. The findings demonstrated that there were multiple ways to incorporate Pancasila values into civic education in elementary schools: (1) incorporating Pancasila values into the curriculum and instruction; (2) establishing habits and exemplary behavior in the classroom; and (3) establishing a school climate that embodies Pancasila values. (4) Learning assessment techniques that assess attitudes and behaviors consistent with Pancasila principles in addition to knowledge. However, a number of challenges were encountered during implementation, including inadequate parental support, teachers' weak understanding of Pancasila ideals, and adverse effects from the outside school environment. According to the study's findings, integrating Pancasila values into elementary school civic education is an ongoing process that calls for collaboration between communities, families, and schools in order to mold students' personalities to fit the national character of Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the impact of using contextual and audiovisual digital media technology in the learning process at the elementary school level. The research background is based on the urgent need to improve the quality of learning through the integration of technology that aligns with the demands of the digital era. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study at a public elementary school. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the contextual and audiovisual use of digital media enhances student engagement, motivation, and understanding of learning materials. Digital media enables more engaging, concrete, and relatable content delivery based on students' daily experiences. However, challenges remain, such as limited \access to devices, unstable internet connectivity, and teachers' lack of digital competence. This study recommends institutional support through teacher training and adequate facilities to foster effective digital-based learning in elementary schools.

The research results show that the low level of understanding of Pancasila values is caused by various factors, including weak implementation of character education in schools, a lack of role models from community leaders and families, the negative influence of social media, and the current of globalization that shifts local cultural values. The consequences of this condition include increased intolerant behavior, a low spirit of mutual cooperation, and a weakening sense of nationalism. The educational curriculum that emphasizes academic aspects over instilling moral values also exacerbates the situation. Strategic efforts are needed that include integrating Pancasila values into formal education, increasing the role of families in instilling moral values, and strengthening the role of society as a character-building environment.

Corruption is a serious problem that can undermine a country's social, economic, and political stability. Efforts to eradicate corruption can be achieved not only through law enforcement but also through long-term prevention strategies, one of which is instilling anti-corruption values from an early age through education. Civics education in elementary schools plays a role in shaping students' character, fostering integrity, honesty, and responsibility. This study employed a literature review method, analyzing various academic literature, international journals, government policy documents, and reports from anti-corruption institutions. The results indicate that experiential learning methods, the role of teachers as role models, and support from the family and community are key factors in the success of anti-corruption education. Comparative studies with other countries indicate that countries with systematic anti-corruption education systems tend to have lower levels of corruption. Therefore, stronger education policies, increased teacher capacity, and regular evaluation of the implementation of anticorruption education programs in elementary schools are needed.

This study aims to examine how PKN learning can increase student participation in school democracy activities through a literature review approach.
