Planting Attitude Responsibility and Care Through PKn in Elementary School

The era of globalization has had a major impact, including the problem of character education that has not been supported by effective learning in character building. The low attitude of students to be responsible and caring for each other is an important concern for solving problems. This study aims to describe the inculcation of an attitude of responsibility and concern through learning Citizenship Education in fifth grade students at the State Elementary School 1 Kapoa . The research method uses a qualitative research type, with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the cultivation of an attitude of responsibility and concern through the method of assignment, habituation, doing assignments, collecting assignments on time, doing assignments on their own work, dressing neatly, doing school pickets, and teachers and parents building communications. Efforts to instill an attitude of responsibility and concern, namely the example of teachers, the active role of school principals, collaboration of teachers and parents, as well as conducting regular evaluations in schools. It can be concluded that Civic Education Learning can make students behave smart and good citizenship in forming students to be responsible and caring at school and around it.
