Abstract

In today's digital era, advances in information and communication technology have changed various aspects of life, including the way people access and understand political issues. This study aims to examine the role of Civic Education (PKn) teachers in increasing students' political awareness in the digital era. Education political for inhabitant country, is not quite enough answer together. Education is a process necessary to achieve balance and perfection in the development of individuals and society. The main difference between education and teaching lies in the formation of awareness and personality of individuals or society, apart from simply transferring knowledge and skills. The method used in this study is a literature review, which focuses on collecting and analyzing various literatures relevant to the topic being studied. By using this method, this study aims to gain a deeper understanding of the contribution of PKn teachers in increasing students' political awareness in the digital era. The results of the literature review indicate that civic education has an effect on students' political awareness, so the role of PKn teachers in providing such education is very important. With the right curriculum, quality teaching, and interactive methods, students can develop attitudes of tolerance and critical thinking skills needed to become agents of positive change in society.
