The Role of Pancasila Education in Overcoming the Problem of Violence in Schools

Problem violence in schools is issue serious affecting development students, good in a way physical, emotional, and social. In this context, Pancasila education as state philosophy and views life the Indonesian nation has a very important role in to overcome violence in the environment school. This article aiming for to study role Pancasila education in prevent and overcome various form violence in schools through literature review approach. Based on study to various source literature, found that Pancasila values, which include humanity, unity, democracy and justice social, can applied in education character in school for to form attitude each other respect, tolerance, and deliberation. In addition that, education Pancasila based helps create conducive environment for development character students, who in turn can reduce behavior violence good between students, between students and teachers, as well as to staff school others.
