Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of civic education through Pancasila values in addressing bullying cases in schools. Bullying has become a serious problem in the education environment, which can have long-term impacts on the victims. Therefore, efforts are needed to address this issue through a holistic and sustainable approach. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The research participants consisted of students, teachers, parents, and school staff involved in handling bullying cases. The collected data were then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of civic education through Pancasila values can be effective in addressing bullying cases. Through a holistic approach, students are involved in activities that promote Pancasila values, such as justice, unity, and mutual cooperation. These programs include classroom learning, extracurricular activities, and collaborative efforts among students, teachers, and parents. This approach not only helps students understand and internalize Pancasila values but also encourages them to respect diversity, build healthy relationships, and resolve conflicts peacefully. Furthermore, this approach also helps increase students' awareness and active role in preventing and reporting bullying cases. This research provides an important contribution in the context of civic education and handling bullying cases in schools. The implementation of civic education through Pancasila values can serve as a strong foundation in shaping good behavior and preventing negative behaviors like bullying. The implications of this research can be used by policymakers and education practitioners to develop education programs that focus on Pancasila values and promote a safe and inclusive school environment for all students.
