Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's role in getting used to singing songs as the formation of student nationalism. In accordance with the objectives of the researcher Therefore, in this study using a descriptive qualitative research method. The research subjects were 10 class VIII students and 1 Civics teacher. Data collection methods are observation, interviews and documentation. Examination technique using Tringulation. Habituation or habituation can be done at school as an effort to develop civic character and character (Susanto & Komalasari, 2015). The results of the study are as follows (1) the teacher's role in getting used to singing nationalism songs as the formation of a spirit of nationalism in students by being consistent in getting used to singing the national anthem (2) the national anthem plays a role in the formation of a spirit of nationalism in students can be seen from an increased sense of love in the land water students after singing the national anthem (3) the teacher's barriers to getting used to singing the national anthem there are several obstacles starting from no students memorize the lyrics and tunes of the national anthem and students are not serious when singing the national anthem makes the teacher more creative in familiarizing themselves with the national anthem singing the national anthem in conclusion.
