In today's developments, there are many problems with character education that have not been supported by effective learning. In character education, you must have culture and courtesy which are very important in order to grow superior, intelligent and trusted students. Culture and Politeness at SD Negeri 104201 in Pool Village, the students still have very little respect for teachers and parents. Integrating the character values of elementary school children in PKN learning in elementary schools. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection process uses interview guides, observation instruments and documentation. The results of the study show that: (1) understanding, namely: discipline, morals, honesty, social care, environmental care, tolerance for others in SD Negeri 104201 Kampung Pool. (2) Understanding the character of elementary school children in PKN learning at SD Negeri 104201 Pond. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that: (1) Character values in accordance with the understanding of Pkn subjects at the elementary school level, namely: discipline, morals, honesty, social care, environmental care, tolerance of others. (2) Understanding the character of elementary school children in teaching pkn. Character education is the process of equipping students to provide noble guidance, not only character in attitude but also character in heart and mind. Character education is effective if it is carried out by habituating noble moral values to students and familiarizing them with habits (habit) that are in accordance with national character. Citizenship education subjects (PKN) in elementary schools have a function as a means to form students into citizens who understand and are able to exercise their rights and obligations, are committed to being loyal to the nation and state of Indonesia by reflecting on themselves as citizens who are intelligent, skilled and character in accordance with the mandate of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
