APPLICATION OF FIGHTING VALUES IN THE PROCESS OF FORMULATING PANCASILA AS THE STATE FOUNDATION FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

This article examines the application of self-defense values in the formulation of Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian student state. Pancasila is the state ideology which forms the basis for developing the character and personality of students to become a tough, responsible generation that has a positive impact on society. This study uses a descriptive research method based on work protocol studies. Library research is a series of activities related to library data collection methods in digital or physical form, a research activity that collects information related to existing phenomena from various sources using a data analysis method called "Content Analysis". The results of the study show that the application of fighting values in education has a positive effect on the strong character of students, persistent and fighting. Values such as steadfastness, courage, independence and responsibility are upheld and integrated in teaching and learning activities. In this case, teachers and educational institutions play an important role in facilitating the application of self-defense values through appropriate teaching strategies and a supportive educational environment. Factors such as the influence of the social environment, peer pressure, and cultural changes can affect students' understanding and acceptance of the value of martial arts. This study provides practical recommendations for teachers and educational institutions to implement military values in daily practice. This study makes an important contribution to the understanding and practical application of educators, policy makers, and other stakeholders to strengthen their value advocacy role.
