THE EFFECT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON PANCASILA VALUES IN THE MILENIAL GENERATION

The research methodology used is qualitative research using the literature study method by analyzing and retrieving data from various sources such as journals, articles and books. Pancasila plays an important role for the Indonesian people, especially in the current generation, Pancasila in the world of education is also an important step in instilling awareness of the importance of having a strong sense of love for the motherland. Social media greatly influences the values in Pancasila, especially in millennial generation. Until now, many young people and adults have not instilled the values of Pancasila, and some have even instilled them, but over time they are disappearing along with the times. Social media cannot be blamed for this matter either. but awareness within us as citizens. The millennial generation must be good at using it and don't forget to apply Pancasila values to life so that they become smart citizens in behaving and behaving on social media. When interacting on social media, we shouldn't be able to spread hoax news such as social politics and SARA. This research was written to find out how important Pancasila values are in realizing Pancasila values in interacting on social media.
