THE ROLE OF THE TEACHER IN USING THE REWARD METHOD TO INCREASE STUDENTS INTEREST IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to increase students' interest in learning by using the reward method in elementary schools. The method used in writing this article is by using the Review Literature which is systematic, clear, and practical. The results of the research in writing this article are that the teacher's role in the student learning process by using the reward method is very influential, because the reward method is very appropriate for increasing student interest in learning. The purpose of using the reward method is to motivate students to participate in learning process activities that can direct students' thinking to new things and can improve student behavior for the better.
