This study aims to present an overview of promiscuity in elementary school children. The challenges faced, and the implications associated with it. The implication of promiscuity in elementary school children is the important role of parents and teachers in providing quality education about social values, ethics, and the wise use of social media. Collaborative efforts between families, schools and communities are needed to raise awareness of the dangers of promiscuity and promote healthy and meaningful social interactions for children. In addition, it is necessary to formulate policies that support character education in elementary schools to develop a better understanding of social consequences and responsibilities. Adult character problems often occur in school-age children, including due to minimal understanding of right and wrong attitudes and lack of direction from the second party, namely schools regarding character education. Pancasila as an ideology plays an important role in building the character of Indonesian society. So that Pancasila must be understood and instilled in the nation through the values contained in each Pancasila point. This study provides an initial understanding of promiscuity in elementary school children. However, further research is needed to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of promiscuity at this age, as well as the effectiveness of intervention strategies that can be implemented to address this problem. With the right efforts, it can be hoped that promiscuity in elementary school children can be reduced, so that they can grow and develop in a healthy and supportive environment. This research can be used as a reference in developing various activities in the program to strengthen character education which of course can educate and give birth to a generation that is moral, dignified, and loves peace.
