Abstract

The increasingly important role of technology and social media in the context of globalized education. Globalization has brought about profound changes in the way we communicate, work and learn. Technology and social media have been key drivers of this change, changing the educational landscape significantly. This research investigates the impact of technology and social media on global learning with a focus on information access, intercultural collaboration, and digital skills development. This analysis includes the implementation of technology in the classroom, online learning platforms, and the role of social media in forming global learning communities. Research findings show that technology and social media play a key role in facilitating access to global educational resources, expanding intercultural collaboration networks, and increasing student interaction. However, challenges such as access gaps, privacy issues, and the impact of social media were also identified.
