The aim of this research is to discuss the importance of Pancasila education in forming character and morals in educational institutions. The research uses a literature study method where the review is carried out descriptively with supporting material obtained from various literature and the discussion focuses on research topics related to Pancasila education. The datawas analyzed reductively which describes the results of the discussion that Pancasila educationplays a very important roles in shaping the characters and morals of students in Indonesia whichshould be implemented from elementary school level. Pancasila is the basis of the Indonesianstate and ideology, in this arena we must be able to realize the values of Pancasila in our behaviour to create unity and harmony for every citizens middle diversity. Pancasila education is not limited to understanding theories, but also about implementing them in daily life practice as a long-term investment in the formation of a young generation who has moral character values and superior character as a nation and state.
