The literature review research method involves collecting, evaluating, and analyzing relevant scientific publications to answer specific research questions. Citizenship education has an important role in increasing elementary school students' legal awareness. This includes introducing basic legal principles, rights and obligations as citizens, as well as the importance of obeying the regulations and laws that apply in society. Through citizenship education, students will understand the importance of upholding the law, respecting human rights, and playing an active role in building a just and civilized society. In conclusion, cooperative learning strategies have been proven to effectively increase the social involvement of elementary school students. Through working together in small groups, students experience improvements in effective communication, collaborative skills, empathy, and self-confidence. Cooperative learning not only supports academic improvement, but also enriches students' social and emotional development. By setting up groups that consider diversity, establishing clear roles and responsibilities, and constructive evaluation and reflection processes, students can build inclusive and supportive learning communities. To achieve maximum benefits from cooperative learning, careful implementation, continuous monitoring, and deep reflection are required, so that each student can experience success and growth in a collaborative learning environment.
