Analysis of the Importance of Citizenship Education in Installing Morals in Students in Primary Schools

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to explore the importance of citizenship education in instilling morals in students in elementary schools. This research was motivated by the problem of the erosion of the moral values of the nation's generation possessed by students in elementary schools. Education is one way to instill these morals in students through civic education learning. Study of literature is something Suite related actions with stages collection sources from bibliography, then source obtained be read for done writing, next done analysis to sources that have been collected in accordance topics discussed. The aim of this research is to find out how important it is to instill morals in students through civic education learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research is literature study by collecting literature data from various sources in scientific journals that are relevant to the topic being discussed. The results of the discussion show that the importance of learning citizenship education in elementary schools is in instilling morals in students through instilling positive values based on the values contained in Pancasila.
