Civic education plays a crucial role in shaping responsible citizens who actively participate in democracy. There are several challenges in implementing civic education teaching to elementary school children, one of which is the abstract and complex nature of the material for elementary school age comprehension. The aim of this research is to determine the role of instructional media in strengthening Civic Education, particularly in elementary schools. This study employs a literature review method that refers to journals, books, and other relevant sources regarding the role of instructional media in strengthening civic education in elementary schools. The research findings indicate that the use of media during learning activities can enhance students' memory, especially when presented with engaging designs and colors , thus creating a sense of enjoyment for students during learning. This sense of enjoyment will leave a lasting impression on students and significantly contribute to their success. It is necessary to further enhance teachers' creativity in using instructional media for strengthening Civic Education teaching in elementary schools.
