Abstract

Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian state has an important role in shaping national and Indonesian identity. One of the efforts to instill Indonesian values in the younger generation is through the application of Pancasila in learning in elementary schools. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of applying Pancasila in learning in elementary schools in fostering Indonesian values in the younger generation.This study aims to investigate the application of Pancasila in learning in elementary schools and its impact on the growth of Indonesian values in the younger generation. Pancasila, as the basic ideology of the Indonesian state, has an important role in shaping national identity and strengthening national identity. Therefore, the integration of Pancasila values in learning in elementary schools is a crucial aspect to ensure that the younger generation can develop a sense of love for the motherland, unity and oneness.This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research participants consisted of elementary school teachers and students in several regions in Indonesia. The collected data were analyzed using a thematic approach.The results of the study show that the application of Pancasila in learning in elementary schools has a positive effect on fostering Indonesian values in the younger generation. Teachers play a central role in integrating Pancasila values into learning activities, such as through the use of national stories and songs, social service activities, and discussions about Pancasila values in everyday life. This helps students to understand and internalize Pancasila values, such as gotong royong, social justice, democracy, and the spirit of unity.
