Pancasila is the state ideology of the Republic of Indonesia which is the basis and foundation for the life of the nation and state, namely to organize an independent and sovereign state, regulate the administration of a clean and authoritative state apparatus to achieve national goals and guide the activities of the Indonesian nation's daily life, which means that Pancasila values are the key in regulating people's attitudes and behavior. responsible nation. Therefore, the implementation of learning Pancasila norms in the school curriculum is very important to shape the character of quality students. The formation of a good and strong student character is one of the goals of education. The Merdeka Curriculum with a focus on learning Pancasila norms aims to shape the character of students who have a strong personality, have noble character, are responsible, love the motherland, and are able to adapt and contribute to the life of society, nation and state. Pancasila contains high moral and ethical values, such as mutual cooperation, justice, unity, democracy and diversity. In learning Pancasila norms, students are taught to recognize, understand, and internalize these values in everyday life. It is intended that students can become individuals with integrity, have an attitude of respect for others, and be able to make the right and responsible decisions. With this in mind, the implementation of learning the Pancasila norms in the Merdeka Curriculum aims to shape the character of students who have intellectual and emotional intelligence, and are able to become the next generation of people who are noble, cultured, and love their homeland.
