Education plays a central role in the progress of a nation and state. Without good educational support, it is difficult for a country's development to develop optimally. own choices and judgments. The role of parents has a broad impact on students' learning motivation. When parents are actively involved in their children's educational process, this can provide a strong positive boost to children's learning motivation. Parental involvement in children's education aims to improve children's academic and social achievements. Parents act as the main forum that can stimulate children's learning motivation. The role of parents in accompanying children involves many functions, including as teachers, guides, mentors, instructors, and examples for children. Parents not only provide material support, but also provide moral guidance and values that are important for children's development. Parents have a very significant role in their children's lives. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, the research will collect data through various methods, such as interviews, observation and document analysis. Interviews can provide an understanding of parents' views and experiences regarding their role in supporting children's learning motivation. This research shows that parents have a role in providing learning motivation to children, and there are differences between parents who are active in providing motivation and those who are less active. Parents should provide attention , enthusiasm, supervise and control their children's learning time, provide motivation, and provide learning facilities. Family cooperation, parental strictness, giving rewards and punishments can also be supporting factors in increasing children's learning motivation. However , there are several factors that hinder parents in providing motivation to their children, such as the different conditions of each child, busy parents, and environmental conditions or learning places that are not conducive.
