Cultivating Diversity as a Form of the Unity Philosophy Behind the Diversity of Community, National and State Life

Diversity is an integral aspect in the construction of a nation's identity, especially in Indonesia which is rich in cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic diversity. This article explores the philosophy of unity behind the diversity of social, national and state life, and outlines concrete efforts to foster diversity as the main foundation for collective progress. Through the literature review method, this article analyzes various literature studies which highlight the importance of understanding and strengthening diversity as an expression of the philosophy of unity. The research results show that steps such as getting to know each other, practicing tolerance, developing empathy, integrating the values of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in education, applying the principles of Pancasila, and fostering an attitude of tolerance in facing differences are effective ways of maintaining and strengthening diversity. as a source of strength and unity. In conclusion, these efforts are a reflection of the Indonesian state motto, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, which describes unity in diversity.
