Abstract

The role of learning media in the learning and teaching process cannot be separated from the world of education. The implementation of education, especially in the implementation of teacher learning, has a role in creating a learning atmosphere and managing the class so that students have comfort in learning and have an impact on improving learning outcomes. Using learning media will help the learning process and delivery of materials more effectively. This study aims to determine the role of learning media in strengthening civic education learning in Elementary Schools. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that learning media plays an important role in improving civic education learning in Elementary Schools. This media helps present information clearly, widely, quickly, uniformly, and integrated. With technology, messages can be delivered logically and systematically to help understand the concepts and principles of the lesson. The use of appropriate and varied learning media can also help overcome students' passive attitudes.
