Abstract

This research discusses the role of ethics and the educational profession in building the character values of prospective elementary school teacher students. Efforts are made to build the character of PGSD students by placing Ethics and Educational Profession lectures as a forum for character education. The teacher who professionals not only rely on materials, but also quality moral And values code ethics profession. Eye studying This equip student candidate teachers regarding moral teachings to obtain a critical orientation as a provision for students to develop moral understanding, moral feelings, and moral actions related to the teaching profession and other educational staff professions. The research results show that both PGSD students and parents of elementary school students think that an elementary school teacher should have comprehensive ethical values.
