Application of Pancasila Values by Generation Z In The Era of Globalization

Abstract

This research aims to find out, firstly, what is contained in the values of Pancasila and the character of generation Z, secondly, to find out how the values of Pancasila are applied by generation Z in the era of globalization. The research method used by the author in this article is the literature review method, then the author searches and reviews several journals, books, websites, then draws conclusions and also summarizes so that he can answer the article that the author wrote. The results of the research show that from several of these articles it is true that the values of Pancasila really need to be applied by generation Z, the increasingly rapid development of technology and the internet means that many young people no longer care about state ideology, resulting in a character crisis and moral crisis. For this reason, it is necessary to develop Pancasila returns to remain a study for the younger generation, especially students, one of which can be started from education in Indonesia, for example from elementary school to high school or even to tertiary education. So researchers provide recommendations for the need to instill Pancasila values from children to adults which aims to shape the character of all groups, especially generation Z.
