The Role of Citizenship Education in Forming Students' Sense of Love for the Homeland

Abstract

This research aim first for know the role of citizenship education in form a feeling of love homeland to students. Research methods used in the article using a descriptive qualitative approach or often called a literature review, the author browse articles that have been related publications with title or topic research that has been researcher specify, articles searched limited as many as 10 articles then researcher filter become a total of 5 articles were considered suitable and close for answer this study. Research result showing that as many as 5 articles from results search can is known that Education Citizenship is education for citizens so that they understand and fulfill their rights and obligations as intelligent and qualified citizens. become humans who have a sense of nationality and love the homeland of this taste realized in form defend the
country as stated in the 1945 Constitution results amendment that is article 27 paragraph 3. Findings in this study still not yet many article that wrote that the role of citizenship education in form a feeling of love homeland to students. So that researcher give recommendation necessity support from government, institutions education, environment participant students, and parents for each other work the same to use increase ability participant
educate in cultivate a sense of love homeland to students.
