This research is a qualitative research using the literary method (literature study) and this research aims to find out the role of teachers in implementing a just character in elementary schools and also to find out the importance of fairness and justice in everyday life. After the author examines various sources such as journals and others, the authors argue that teachers play a very important role in instilling justice in elementary schools. The main foundation in achieving good character is the school and the teacher who guides to instill good character, such as fair character. Which


fair is not one-sided, impartial or placing something in its place
without adding to or subtracting anything. fair is implemented in a way that depends on proportion and capacity, for example not prioritizing things that benefit oneself but harming others, does not discriminate between ethnic groups in granting rights. In addition to the word fair, there is also the word justice where fair and justice are things that cannot be separated, because in an education on the identity of the educator must implement fairness and justice, where fairness and justice are two things that have a very important position in education World. The benefits of justice are that life will be peaceful, not feeling anxious when doing something, and always being trusted by many people. Everyone who has a just character is definitely useful for the nation and state as well as in society. Teachers can relate a fair and honest attitude to students and set an example of not cheating during exams, not littering and so on. How to instill a fair character in elementary schools can be conveyed in various ways during learning by conveying the benefits if we have a fair
character.
