Role Education Citizenship in Develop Mark Mark Character Students in Elementary School

Abstract

Character education is a must, because it is considered to be able to make students intelligent, have good manners and good manners so that students are able to position themselves at school and in society. The approach the author used in preparing this article is a qualitative approach. Then to the method which done that is with literature study method. Citizenship education plays a very important role in developing students' character values, one of which is to change behavior for the better and to develop knowledge to become an intelligent and qualified young generations who can face and resolve the life problems they face, because this will be passed on to next generation. In this scientific article, data collection was carried out using the literature method. Based on the results and discussion, it can be understood that teacher innovation and creativity are needed in building student character in citizenship education learning, especially for elementary school students.
