The Role of Education in Efforts to Humanize Humans

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out about the role of education in humanizing humans. The research method carried out in this research is descriptive qualitative, where the use of this descriptive qualitative method is based on the implementation of research which attempts to explain a symptom, event, incident at the present time, as well as describe systematic, factual and accurate depiction or painting of the facts, characteristics in the form of relationships between the phenomena being investigated. Education is the process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people in an effort to mature humans through teaching and training efforts. Humanizing is making, treating, considering as human. Humans are intelligent creatures who can control other creatures. So, in my opinion, the purpose of education is to humanize humans, namely the process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people in an effort to mature humans through teaching and training efforts so that they are considered as true humans who basically have reason and as a process of changing attitudes and behavior. a person or group of people in the process of interaction between individuals and the natural environment which leads to true and rational humans and makes humans have a sense of humanity (human traits). Apart from that, it is to change people's mindset and way of looking at life so that they can live their lives in peace and tranquility according to the times.
