The aim of this writing is to explore that teachers in the field of citizenship education study form students' disciplined character, which is the main task in schools. This is because citizenship education teachers are also known as role models for students in being disciplined in time, dress discipline and other disciplined behavior. Citizenship knowledge concerns academic scientific abilities which are developed into three aspects, namely: politics, law and morals. It is hoped that these three aspects can form students' knowledge that has a disciplined character at school, such as the legal aspect as the implementation of school regulations or rules. Citizenship skills are competencies developed from citizenship knowledge, which is intended so that the knowledge gains something meaningful in facing obstacles as students who have a disciplined character at school become. The method used in this research is literature study by collecting literature data from various sources in scientific journals that are relevant to the topic being discussed. The results of the discussion show that the importance of civics education learning in elementary schools is in the role of PKN teachers in shaping the disciplinary character of students at school.
