The purpose of writing this journal is to explain how the teacher's efforts in shaping the disciplinary character of students in the elementary school education environment. The research method used in writing this journal is a qualitative method with a literature study & documentation approach. And the result of writing this journal will be the formation of the disciplinary character of elementary school students which is applied in routine activities as well as real practice of teachers as educators with one goal, namely instilling good attitudes and morals to the students taught. Not only for the school environment, but this attitude can also be applied in the surrounding environment and community. The character of this student discipline can not only help students to behave better in the future, but also can be a place to shape the character of the students themselves. The character that arises from this discipline attitude will be a character that is polite, moral, and far from the word problem. But, one thing needs to be understood that not necessarily bad habits can be changed as they should. There must be a structured process and way so that students can understand and change deeply. And most importantly, parents must also take a role in handling this discipline. The key to forming disciplinary character in elementary school students is school familiarity and example, as well as principals, teachers and other education personnel, who can set a good example for students not only at school but also outside school. To foster the discipline of students, a combination of the roles of teachers and parents is needed who are able to monitor student learning activities to match the final expectation, namely a character that is perfectly awakened. In an educational environment, the teacher as someone who is responsible must be a facilitator who can apply existing science and technology.
